Deep amber with a thick off-white head. Caramel dominates, with some stewed plums and the faintest hint of old, dusty hops. A bit watery and a touch too sweet.. It's a lowest common denominator bitter; very dull and uninspiring.

Keg, half-pint in the Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen on 20th December 2024. Bog standard Lager, nothing more, nothing less. Refreshing and clean, golden look, white crown.

Keg, half-pint in the Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen on 20th December 2024. Hazed orange body, white crown. Tropical fruit front to the nose and taste, calmed down a little as I batted through it.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen on 20th December 2024. Dark mahogany body, beige topping. Nutty, earthy, woody and a slight whiskey leaning. Liked it!

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen on 20th December 2024. Golden amber body, white crown. Fruity front to the aroma and taste, becomes more malty as you get into it. Decent enough without being too exciting.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen on 20th December 2024. White crust on a pale amber body. Slight fruity aroma, with a malty flavour just above the fruity hop taste, decent enough IPA, a little tame though.

Keg at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Gloucester. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma: rich, roasted chocolate malts, oatmeal, light coffee. Moderate sweet & bitter, semi-dry finish. Medium+ body with fine carbonation. Decent. (This is apparently a different beer to the similarly named other beer).
