Description
Here at Rawlins Family Cider we make traditional style Cider and Perry using handpicked fruit from local Somerset orchards. We pride ourselves on our natural methods of fermenting using the wild yeast from the apples and no added sulphites.

750ml bottle from Rawlins. Batch No. 12, Bottle 111/295. Orangey golden amber colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fruit, leathery funk. Taste is sweet, tangy, appley, fruity, some skin and core, orchardy, funky, leathery, with some smokey tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry fruity funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Panda from danlo, cheers Ed. Pours pale yellow gold, dissipating white bubbles. Aroma: perry pear, citrus, mild funk. Taste: towards sweet, mellow perry pear, tangy/light acidity, some citrus, floral, mild to mid tannins. Medium body with spritzy carbonation

Draught at Station East, Gateshead. Orangey golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, mucky funk. Taste is sweet, appley, orange juicy, fruity, funky, with some tartness and drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Draught at Station East, Gateshead. Golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, caramel, funk. Taste is sweet, appley, caramel, dried fruit, with mellow soft tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium sweet appley tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

Moderately hazed golden amber with an off white cap that clears to the edge.
Nose is funk, apple core, orchard wood, straw.
Taste comprises caramel, bitter apple, tannings, funk, barnyard nip.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass, for #rgpm. Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived foamy white foam head and aroma of perry pear, zesty citrus. Taste is sweet and tangy, perry pear, fruity, floral, wood barrel, funk hint, with citrusy notes, some acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium drying peary mellow acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml wired cork bottle from the Cat in the Glass. Batch No. H3, Bottle 103 of 268. Opened with a pop and a gush. Sparkling, orangey gold colour, fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, flesh, earth, funk. Taste is sweetish, fleshy apple, fruity, wood, oak, with some earthy acidity and tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium sweet bittersharp tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a coppery golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is apple, sweet, fruity. Taste is crisp apples, tannins, skins, caramel.
