330ml bottle at home. Pours opaque dark brown with a head. Aromas of faint peat smoke, treacle. Taste is light roast, smoke, liquorice. Woody on the finish, and a bit chewy.

Bottle. Appearance - opaque black with a crema head. Nose - smoke, liquorice, molasses and woody black jacks. Taste - smoke and dark chocolate. Molasses comes out later. Palate - rich medium to full bodied smoky dry medium bodied with a dry smoky finish. Overall - woody, herby and nice.

Cask @ GBBF 2015. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

On tap at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Deep Amber brown colour with a tan head. Aroma has malt rich dark fruits and chocolate. Taste us light sweet.

Cask @ JDW Counting House. Clear, dark red with a thin off white head. Taste is malty, dried fruit sweetness with some bitterness in the finish. A little thin, perhaps, but otherwise a good beer
