Bottle from Aldi, Inverurie. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, cereal, bread, brioche, madeleines, pepper, ginger and grass. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, bready, sponge cake, cereal, fairly bitter, grassy, mint, earth, hint of pear-apple esters and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A pretty interesting golden ale with Belgian accents. Decent enough.

Cask at the 22nd Watford beer festival, Watford, Herts. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, floral, citrus aroma. Tastes a little unbalanced to me, slightly hoppy, floral, vaguely fruity, not much happening here.

Cask gravity at the 2016 Watford beer festival 4/11/2016. A very clear amber orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is a but sweaty, feet, hops, vague lemon, hint of vinegar tang. Flavour is composed of semi sweet burnt toffee malts, orange, sticky sweaty hop, caramel. Palate is semi sweet, viscous sticky hop and a little solvent in the finish. Not good.
