dark amber to chestnut colour, minimal off-white lacing; aroma of dried apricot and pear, prune, figs, some soy sauce, honey or rather maple syrup and alcoholic notes; taste has the same notes with the dominance of soy sauce over dried fruits and definite syrupy sweetness, as well as spicy alcoholic aftertaste; a bit weakly bodied for this ABV

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Almost clear golden, mid sized head. Generic aroma of cheap orange squash. Sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. The flavour is all about orange squash. Slight resinous bitterness. Not refreshing at all.

500ml bottle [as Winter Festbier]. Crystal clear, amber colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mellow malty, minimally grainy aroma, hints of caramel, a touch of toffee. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, hints of caramel, a touch of toffee, weak mineral overtones. Watery texture, smooth, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Balanced, simple - OK.

0.5 l bottle from 'Getränke Kosmol', as 'Faust Weizen Hell Alkoholfrei', best before June 2024. Minimally hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly floral aroma of wort, grains and some caramel. Very sweet, malty, a bit floral taste of wort, grains, some caramel and hints of honey, followed by a short, hardly bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very sweet NA Weizen, no yeast flavours whatsoever, tastes like pure wort. Not great.

2021 Edition. Bottle. Clear copper/amber sporting a small but decent beige/white head. Aroma of malts, dried fruits and a little bit of herbs. It’s basically pretty doppelbocky. Taste of malts, caramel, dried fruits, herbs and nuts. Moderate bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Very balanced and dangerously drinkable. Delicious. Need to check out the fresh version.

# 3960; 12/2023. BB 12.1.2024. Stored out of the fridge at the store. Cellar, yeasty, herbal aroma. Murky gold body; whit head. Cellar, malty, honey, slightly vegetable and cardboard. Bad drinkability. Wow, such a bad Kräusenlager (bad bottle?). I wish to try this beer fresh for the comparison... 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Kornwestheim (Swabia, Germany).
