500ml bottle [as Faust Weizen Hell alkoholfrei]. Cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, super dense, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, doughy yeasty, minimally yeasty fruity and slightly bready, minimally spicy, wheaty malty aroma, hints of crisp bread, a touch of banana bread, apple, brioche. Taste is watery, doughy yeasty and slightly bready, wheaty malty, minimally yeasty fruity, diluted hints of crisp bread, apple, brioche, minimally mineral, grassy hoppy overtones. Watery texture, indifferent palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite watery, fairly refreshing - pretty much OK for what it wants to be.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a fluffy head. Hay, grain, bread, zesty hops, dough. Dry bitterness, grainy sweetness, slightly sour. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty grainy bittersweet finish. It’s an okay unfiltered Märzen.

Bottle (from Die Bierothek). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, quite strange sweet tones with mild herbs and some earth. Flavour is sweet grainy and mashlike elements with some herbs and mild grass.

Dark brown with a creamy, white head. The aroma is burnt out fireplace, caramel, dankness. Lots of ashy bitterness in this one. Taste is roasted bitter the whole way through. Clean, crisp finish. Above average Dunkles.
