Festbier, heuer mit 5,9 %, vom Faß im Lemke am Schloss zum Oktoberfest-tauglichen Abzockpreis von 12,90 € für die Maß, obwohl wir hier nicht im schönen München sondern im Reichshauptslum (Don Alphonso) sind. - Schönes Kupferrotgold, klar. - In der Nase satte karamellige Süße, ein wenig Bierwürze und aromatische herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk weich und kernig karamell mit dezenter Waldhonigsüße und kerniger, leicht ätherisch-herbaler und orangenbitterer Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang stattliche, bissige Hopfenherbe. - Robustes, ansprechendes Festbier, solide malzig und großzügig gehopft. Klasse! (6.10.2023.)

Bottle. Amber colour with a mediumsized white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is tropical fruits, mango, some alcohol sweetness with mild floral and nectary tones. Flavour is tropical fruits, some sweet malts with mild alcohol and some peachy tones. Alcohol leaves a quite burning feel.

Small tan head; jet-black beer. Non-sweet liquorice, I drop /I, alcohol, spirit. Hints at New World hops (?). More liquorice in the mouth, rubber, burnt chocolate, caramel syrup, even toffee, bit (sweet) walnut. Full bodied, alcoholheat. Slick, viscous, rich. Burnt caramel going on in the aftertaste. Quite disappointing, unrefined for all the pomp. Txs to Stef!

Huge cream head with faint pink sheen over clear reddish cola-coloured beer. Very faint smoke, C-hops, brown candi sugar, wood, chocolate cake, oats... sweet. Dry-ish, bit hoppy flavour with sweet chocolate and plywood behind. Feels chewy, well-bodied, viscous, well-carbonated. Chocolate flavours keep coming. Creamy from the rye. Not bad from this 'craft' brewery whose products often carry a lot of main commercial brewers' characteristics. Txs to Stef!

Tap, Das Lemke, Berlin. Clear amber, medium beige head, lasting. Sweet fruity and flowery nose, biscuity later on. Medium bitterness, shampoo and grass. Mild aftertaste. Light. Old school IPA.
