23/8/2019. Cask at the 42nd Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hops, flowers and fruits. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Light tropical finish with some increasing bitterness.

Cask @ The Abbey. Pours a generally clear gold, small white sheet atop. Tropical bubblegum nose, taste has mild floral bubblegum sweetness, mild tropical juice but essentially a bit too light and watery overall.

Pours a clear golden colour with an average sized frothy white head. The aroma is citrusy. A moderately sweet taste, sweet pale malts, orange and citrus peel flavours with a hoppy bitterness.

Bottle from the Black Boar. Appearance - amber with a creamy off white head. Nose - toffee, brown bread. A little dried orange. Taste - sweet toffee and caramel. Malt loaf. Palate - medium bodied and a little sweet. Overall - would've liked a bit more biscuit bitterness.

Bottle from the Black Toad. Appearance - golden amber with a proportionate off white head. Nose - lemon, biscuit and caramel. Taste - grapefruit pith, then mainly caramel and biscuit. Palate - light bodied, a little sweeter than hoped for on the finish. Overall - OK.

Bottle from the Black Toad. Appearance - cloudy orange. Nose - floral and light citrus. Brown bread.. Taste - orange, biscuit, mint lozenge. Palate - light bodied with balanced bitterness and good linger. Overall - not so many fruity high points but good balance.

Pale gold with a frothy white head and a floral aroma. Light bodied, smooth and easy drinking, with a hint of spicy sharpness to the light malt flavour and some mellow floral hop bitterness
