Keg draught at the brewery tap, Lime Street. Light gold, maybe a tiny bit of haze, with a small thin layer of white head and considerable lacing. Very gentle aroma with vanilla malt character, some citrus and orchard fruit notes. Taste starts out sweet with creamy tropical fruit flavours, but there's a keen bitterness nearer the finish. Light to medium body, carbonation on the low side. A competent APA.

Cask at Lower Angel, Warrington. Pours a dark ruby with a small foamy cream head. Aroma has dark fruits and malts. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour majors on dark fruits and malts with some traces of liquorice. Finish is slightly dry. This is quite nice.
