Relativt pålitelige notater fra godt besøkt føradventsmøte i Jæren Fråholdslag. Kjetil kjemper heroisk for å forsere den hvite voksforseglingen, og vi blir belønnet med en helt klar kobberbrun utskjenking med fint skum som varer. Sure bær, urter, barskog og bark. Fin bitterhet, men nokså intetsigende avslutning. Tiden var nok løpt fra denne 0,75 flasken.

GYG 310824. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is malt, dried fruit, wood, berries. Flavor is malt, bread, funk, bread, red berries, wood, dried fruit, spices. Nice beer.

Bottle courtesy of Gunnfryd. Unclear dark amber body under a small tan head. Aroma has malt, dry fruit, wood, red berries and mild funk. Taste has sweet malt, bread, red berries, some acidity and generic fruitiness. Balanced body and smooth, slightly acidic aftertaste. Nice and quaffable.

Bottle, 75cl. It's lightly hazy in the glass, dark amber to brown in color, with a small, dense, beige head. Lacing. The aroma has red berries, some vinegar and dark dried fruit, with some dark rye bread. Spiced hints. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, with a touch of vinegar. Roasted malt hints, dark dried fruit and some bread hints. Medium length finish. Lacking a bit on complexity, but nice indeed. 240831
