Can with a smudged out date code. Pours with a clear golden yellow hued body and a small off white head. Aromas are mildly malty, toasty bready, citrus, tropical, tropical fruit, melon. Milder notes if hop dankness and tamarind. Assertively bitter, yet clean, crisp and dry flavors. Slightly faded papaya, mango and tangerine. Dry, slightly boozy for a sub 7% beer. Possibly not extremely fresh , but still quite good and without an interfering malt character .

12oz bottle pours with a slightly opaque papery gold body that supports a thin bright white head. The aroma offers up sweet sugary malts, a light banana note, a honey apple estery sweetness and a faint whiff of black pepper. The taste starts sweet with a mixture of sweet ripe granny smith apples and pear notes and then moves into a sugary wheat sweetness and a mild fruity maybe somewhat floral hoppy tartness. I’m not sure this is working for me. Another sip and yes, not working.
