Drauht at Bishops Arms SoFo, Stockholm, on August 5, 2010Cloudy yellow color, fluffy white head. Acidic, slightly spicy, banana estery, yeasty scent. Sweet, a bit bitter, banana taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet aftertaste.

(Draught at BA Vasagatan) Poured brown and cloudy, Head was medium sized and white. Aroma contained hops, pine, fruitiness and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, pine, caramell, malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly sweet and clearly bitter. Overall the beer was bit musty.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Hazy red/brown with a small white head. The aroma was dominated by grape and something that reminded of soap. Taste of grape, yeast, pine nedles and some "soap". Drinkable but nothing special. A little on the thin side.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Cloudy dark amber, creamy head. Rich grapefruity hop aroma. Dry and fairly clean and light bodied. Zesty grapefruit dominates, slight saltiness and a touch of roastiness. Lingering quite strong bitterness. Fresh, hoppy and light, though on the clean side.

Medium beige head. Brown body. Fruity peppery caramelly aroma, very harmonic. Dry-bitter malty wooden peppery taste with caramelly roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Dry astringent wooden dandelion aftertaste with grassy dusty notes. Quite good, but could use more malts, IMHO. (0.3l draft at Bishop’s Arms, Folkungagata, Stockholm.)

Biggish beige head. Barely translucent dark brownish red body. Light minty smoky chocolatey aroma with caramel and cocoa notes. Dry-sweetish mealy roasted rice taste with smoky chocolate notes. Light body. Airy mouthfeel. Sweetish roasty caramel aftertaste with light smoky charcoal notes. Nice and delicate. I prefer more smoke myself, though. (0.5l draft, Bishop’s Arms, Bellmansgt Stockholm.)

Draught (Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm) - Hazy gold/amber with a white head. Spicy aroma with hints of cooked banana. Banana also features in the taste along with more hints of spice and a twist of lemon.
