Draught at MacKinley’s Inn, Stockholm. Dark amber, almost clear, small creamy head. Sourdough aroma, Dryish and medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Slightly roasty with only light grassy hop flavour. Medium bitterness.

Bottled. Clear brownish amber. Fresh, lightly ornagey and buttery. Balanced sweetness. A pretty good svagdricka!

Bottled. Looks like vaguely yellowy water. Aroma of honey,menthe and pine needles. Sweet and lemonad like, but with fresh sparkling mouthfeel. A soothing, odd drink.

A hazy orange beer with a fine white head. The aroma is of citrus, oranges, and wheat - very fresh. The flavor is sour with notes of wheat and citrus, but the body is thin.

Light gold. Moderate haze. Thick foam. Malty and marshmallowy taste. A little too watery, though, and the flavours just don’t quite get around to developing.

Cloudy dark yellow with rich, creamy head. Strong estery banana aroma. Sweet, mild and softly malty, with lots of banana and cloves. A good wheat beer, very true to the style. I would like to see it a little drier though.

This is the debut beer from a new Swedish microbrewery. The brewmaster came from the defunct brewpub Gamla Stan, and now seems to have free hands to brew whatever he likes.
Hazy golden with rich firm head. Dry and bread with soft, dense mouthfeel. The body is really meaty and solid and it is strikingly hoppy with a long, grassy, bitter finish. Every detail, from the hoppiness, to the lovely malt profile and the balance seem carefully worked out. It’s not really a complex beer, but certainly a beer with character. (8/5/9/5/17)
Update August 2008: This beer is still as awesome when get in top shape on tap. Sadly this happens to seldom. The bottled stuff is good, but has lost a bit of edge, and the quality of the draught product also varies. While I still enjoy it immensly att times I can no longer maintain that this is among the best pilseners on earth.
