(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, bready nose with hay, grassy hops and hints of tropical fruit. Malty, bready taste with notes of citrus, hay and a dry, grassy bitterness in the classic German pilsener tradition. Perhaps a bit over carbonated, but the taste is fresh and clean. Nice beer.

(On tap) Pours a clear warm orangey brown with a neat, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and a light smoky whiff. Medium body with lightly sweet roasted malt and discreet smoky accents. Lightly bitter finish. Well crafted, but perhaps the smoke is a little too downplayed. 190908

Bottled@SBWF2008. Goldeny amber colour, not much head. Aroma is yeast, mild sourness, wheat and some hayish notes. Flavour is yeast, hops and some grassyness in a strange mix.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, and so is the flavor.
