Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Pours black with medium light/tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and dark fruits with some chocolate and coffee. Flavour matches aroma aspects with malt being the strongest, and a little licorice in the background (Rated 2011/04/20)

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hay deep golden, small head. Grassy nose with some butter and fruit.. Above medium bodied with dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Midl salty finish. A well balanced heller bock. Really like it!

Draught (Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) - Golden with a foamy head. Malty and grassy aroma with a hint of grain. Crisp and malty taste with notes of grain, dusty hops and some slightly yeasty and earthy elements. Rather authentic.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 27 May 2011) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with notes of grass, hay and dried fruit. Malty taste with dried fruit, grass and a spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Nice and well balanced bock.

Bottle from a tourist shop on Norra Ulvön, the girl had no idea what she was selling :-), lucky find. Light smoky burned sugar aroma. Opaque brown, low head. Mellow chewy mouthfell. Fitting sweetness, roast, light sugared coffee aftertaste. Refreshing.

Draft at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan. Very dark maroon, huge brown head. Aroma of chocolate liqueur, licorice. Taste is light licorice and burnt caramel candy. Nice.

Draught (Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) - Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted aroma with coffee, plain chocolate and roasted malt. Liquorice, coffee, chocolate and malt in the taste. Fairly nice.

Draught@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Black colour, small broqwn head. Aroma is roasted malts, some fruits and mild nutty notes. Flavour is burnt wood, some roasted malts as well as some slight caramelly and toffeeish notes.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 5 March 2011) Black colour with frothy, pale brown head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of dark rye bread, raisins, coffee and dark chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with dark fruit, ashes, coffee, chocolate and a mild coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slightly burnt sweetness. Nice and tasty porter.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Very dark brown, beige head. Slight coffee aroma. Mid dry with medium body and spritzy mouthfeel. Mild coffee flavour, some tobacco and licorice wakes up as it warms. Fairly low bitterness. A subtle, well balanced porter.
