Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Transparently black, rocky beige head. Light chocolate aroma. Medium sweet with fairly light body and soft mouthfeel. Lots of milky chocolate and some tobacco. Drier finish with some light bitterness. Mild and careful for a stout.

Draught. 5.7%. Very dark brown colour, looks clear. Stable and creamy light brown head. The beer took a while to pour. I only get a weak maltiness from the aroma. The flavour is malty with a little aroma hoppiness. Then there is a hint of roasted and smoked malts. The aftertaste is long, malty and roasted. The mouthfeel is slightly thin. The smoked flavour seems to disappear after a few sips. There seems to be a faint underlying sourness, but it does not hurt the beer. Nice enough, but not very smoky.

500ml on tap at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Gamla Staden, Stockholm. Has got a weak peaty smell, but is rather disappointing in taste for a rauchbier. Hazy dark brown in appearence with a low-level head. Gives a woody impression with notes of toffee and grain. Slightly sourish aftertaste. Moderate carbonated (01.12.2006).

Draught. Hazy, straw yellow body, declining white foam. Citric to the nose. Lemon, banana and a touch of coriander in flavour. Soft and rather thin mouthfeel (consumed at Glenfiddich Warehouse No.68 in Stockholm, 30.11.2006).

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No.68 in Stockholm. Unfiltered. Pours a pale yellow body over a medium white foamy head. Fresh grassy aroma. Hoppy fruit notes dominate the taste with a solid touch of oranges. Dry ending. More than average for a pilsener (30.11.2006).

Bottled at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Clear ruby with small beige head. Some saccarine sweetness. Surprisingly malty with notes of red grapes and raisin. No bitterness. A very well made, real svagdricka.

(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm) Colour is dark brown, almost mahogany, with a foamy pale brown head. Nose is malty, with notes of sweet smoke and black-currant. Slightly acidic (?), and rather modest smoke notes. Taste is malty, with sweet smokey notes and hints of wild berries, black-currant and dried fruit. Slight acidity in the taste as well, evident but not really impressive smokiness. This one wasn’t obviously off, but I’m not really sure it was fresh either. Have to give it another chance. (6/5/6/6/6=5.8). Rerate: (Gravity cask at Oliver Twist 7 Dec 2025) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, slightly smoky nose with dried fruit, apricots and wort bread. Malty, slightly smoky taste with notes of bread, toast, dried apricots, raisins, gentle smoke flavours and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a gentle smoke touch. Quite nice.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm, 2007-05-08, 7-4-8-5-15=39
Hazy amber color; creamy head; nice lace. The fruity aroma vanishes quickly, leaving a very nice note of toffee. Medium body structure, good malt taste with loads of caramel, and a very good and strong hopping, aromatic, a bit resiny. Maybe too bitter at the end.
Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm, 2006-03-13, 9-5-7-4-14=39
Beautiful amber color; big head. Wonderful fruity aroma. The flavor is not up to expectations: thin, without resins and fruitness, only bitterness.
