Bottled at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Clear ruby with small beige head. Some saccarine sweetness. Surprisingly malty with notes of red grapes and raisin. No bitterness. A very well made, real svagdricka.

(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm) Colour is dark brown, almost mahogany, with a foamy pale brown head. Nose is malty, with notes of sweet smoke and black-currant. Slightly acidic (?), and rather modest smoke notes. Taste is malty, with sweet smokey notes and hints of wild berries, black-currant and dried fruit. Slight acidity in the taste as well, evident but not really impressive smokiness. This one wasn’t obviously off, but I’m not really sure it was fresh either. Have to give it another chance. (6/5/6/6/6=5.8). Rerate: (Gravity cask at Oliver Twist 7 Dec 2025) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, slightly smoky nose with dried fruit, apricots and wort bread. Malty, slightly smoky taste with notes of bread, toast, dried apricots, raisins, gentle smoke flavours and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a gentle smoke touch. Quite nice.

Bright dark amber color. Elegant brew, with perfumy caramel and more dry caramel flavor; strong bitterness.

Dark amber color; thick big creamy head. The aroma is light, with some malt, and lightly smokey. Ordinary taste, caramel, dry, strong bitterness. Simple.

Hazy amber color; creamy head; nice lace. The fruity aroma vanishes quickly, leaving a very nice note of toffee. Medium body structure, good malt taste with loads of caramel, and a very good and strong hopping, aromatic, a bit resiny. Maybe too bitter at the end.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm, 2006-03-13, 9-5-7-4-14=39
Beautiful amber color; big head. Wonderful fruity aroma. The flavor is not up to expectations: thin, without resins and fruitness, only bitterness.

(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm, Mar 11) Brown/orange colour, very hazy, almost muddy actually. Lots of aroma hops and fruit in the nose (blood oranges, grapefruit). Taste is fruity, spicy and hoppy with a musty, yeasty character. Long, bitter finish. I wouldn’t call it a looker, but taste is very nice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy (unfiltered) pilsener golden with a handsome, creamy, white head. Hoppy nose. Good, decent body dominated by bittering hops. Solid, good quality pilsener. 030106

Draught at Glenfiddich Waregouse no.68. Hazy reddish brown, rich creamy head. Powerful pleasant hop aroma with graferuit and lychee. Light bodied with soft, cottony mouthfeel. The aromatic hops cover everything in lychee juise, yet the bitterness is surprisingly low (something that should be changed in next batch with the addition of more Amarillo hops I’m told). Excellently drinkable, but the very light body and low bitterness makes it somewhat metallic in the finish. Still it’s a great beer!

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] A hazy orange mead with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by rosehips, but with honey likngering in the back ground. The flavor is quite thin honeyish. The thiness makes it boring - but what can You expect from a 6.3% ABV Mead.

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and slightly smoked. The flavor is sweet and very lightly smoked, which also gives it light notes of wood, rope, and tar - too little smoke for my liking, and the body is thin. This is only done half way - either make it smoked or don’t - it doesn’t work halfway, though it is still drinkable, just not interesting.
