There's a method in Mr Winter's madness. From the brew to the bottle, we carefully consider every element of our range to give you a taste of the unexpected.

With IPAs, golden ales and stouts in our range, we have a beer for every palate. From light and fruity, to dark and nutty, each one combines high-quality hops with barely, water and yeast to create a unique, full-bodied flavour.

Started in September 2001 by Dave Winter, as Winter’s Brewery. In early 2020, the brewery changed it's branding to the current MrWinter’s.

Deep golden color. Malty sweetness and apricots in the nose. Fairly sweet but not that interesting. Ok.

Gravity poured pint at the 2013 CAMRA AGM in Norwich on 20 Apr. An off-white foaming head sat on top of this good looking dark brew, deep ruby red when held to a light source, otherwise a very dark brown colour. Dark fruits and malty molasses blend together nicely to give this beer a pleasant aroma and taste. Not the heaviest bodied stout about, but this was fine and suited the flavours and alcohol level just right: a well make and tasty brew.

Cask@The Plasterers Arms, Norwich. Deep ambery black colour with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is mild roast, some liquorice, slight ripe fruits and some mild toasted notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some raisins, wood and toffee. Aftertaste has liquorice, caramel and some floral and toasted notes in it.

Kings Head, Norwich. Slightly hazy gold beer. no real head because there is no real carbonation. Semi dry malt, a little creamy. Repressed orange. Whisper of sulphur in the dry finish.

Kings Head, Norwich. Clear gold amber beer. Dry palate, dry malt. A little sulphur on the nose and the taste. Tiny bit of fruit hop coming through at the end. Somewhat rough.

Cask@Plasterers Arms, Norwich. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is sweet malts, smooth fruits and some mild wooden notes as well. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, mildly perfumed soapy notes as well as some bitter hoppy notes.

Cask@Kings Head, Norwich. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some bready malts as well as some mild herbal notes. Flavour is bitter, fruity, mild vanilla, earth and quite bready and crisp maltyness.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Golden with a small white head. Weak floral and grassy hop aroma. Sweetish grassy flavour with a good, bitter finish

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear golden with bubbles on top. Hay and citrus. Dry and fairly crisp flavor. Ends dry. Smooth.
