Cask at the Kings Head, Norwich, 27/01/24. Black with a khaki cap that retains well. Nose is dark malts, toffee, liquorice, herb. Taste comprises toffee, fruit cake mix herb, brown bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Tidy mild.

Taste comprises chocolate melt, toffee, vanilla, dark malts, light spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Solid cask stout.

Taste comprises citric tinged straw, grass, melon, modest citric peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close touched with mellow hop bitterenss. Passable pale ... not very expressive.
