Description
Anders Kissmeyer takes the concept of craft brewing very seriously, but at the same time he is also a curious and creative brewer who takes pride in driving the craft towards new heights and in new directions. Rooted in these passions, we will present new takes on well known beer types, along with brand new unique directions and styles.
Anders Kissmeyer is a much larger name in the rest of the world than he is in his own country. This will be reflected in a number of collaboration brews. Beers he brews in collaboration with his large network of friends among the best international brewmasters. To fully unfold our ambitions, we have chosen to present all of the KISSMEYER beers in a number of distinct portfolios, each with a conceptual idea of it’s own.

'Kissmeyer Beer and Brewing’ is my company, launched in 2010 after I ended my 10 year carreer with Nørrebro Bryghus. Longue description The company spans over three main areas of business - ’Kissmeyer Beer’ is my beer brand offering my own and collaborative beers at home and abroad. ’Kissmeyer Brewing’ is my consultancy business offering services related mainly to the brewing industry. Finally, under the collective name ’Kissmeyer Beer & Brewing’ I offer a wide range of communication services incl. beer tastings and presentations

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours dark copper/amber with a 3 finger creamy beige head. Aroma is some sort of fruit and orange zest. Med body. Flavor is certainly fruit and orange zest, with some dark malt and yeast/spice. The flavors are strong. I guess I don’t eat enough pomegranates to know that flavor well. On my side - there are a lot of flavors in here.

500ml bottle. Darkest red with beige head. Honey is counterbalanced by roasted malt aromas. Not too sweet, honey ist integrated by notes of ashes, slightly metallic, almost a bit thin.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 01.04.2012
Aroma is stale and weird with some honey and hints of roasted malt. Also some plastic and rubber notes. Flavour has lots of roasted malt, some chocolate and hints of honey. Good, but could be more rich.

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A dark brown beer, unclear, and topped by a two-finger, beige head. Smoked and roasted malts, alcohol, ham and some faint chocolate notes in the aroma. The flavor is on the roasted, smoked side, with ham, some nougat and a decent bitterness. Full-bodied, warming and pleasantly carbonated. Warm and roasted end. A really pleasant one. 110528

On tap at Schouskjelleren 26 nov 2011. Black colour with a beige head. Heavy roasted nose. If it were any honey here, it was killed by a massive roasted barley.
