Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a tight cream head; light citrus aroma; floury body with a refreshing lemony flavour; the finish is dry with some fresh herbal bitterness. Better than other brewing attemps at "Olympic Gold" this year.

Golden amber coloured and nice in the palate. Has some malts in taste and aroma but its decent body is dominant in this bitter.

Hand pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons on 4th July: brewed for the 2012 London Olympics, most likely going for the 100 litres or something simular! Pours a golden colour (what a surprise) with a thin but full white head of bubles. This is no medal winner though: lightwieght in aroma and taste, a pleasant enough blend but lacks depth or interest. Boringly bland in the nose and just about enough hops and malts to give it a beery flavour: Mr Average in everything; basically a dull offering and I quickly moved on to something better.

Cask at Briar Rose, Birmingham
Golden color, with creamy head. The aroma is light. The flavor is mild but better, with soft breadish notes and light malt, also traces of diacetyl; moderate bitterness; smooth.
Pleasant without thrills.

Has a malty aroma and is light in its texture and in its taste. Not the greatest.

[Cask at the Bacchus Hotel, Sutton-on-Sea] Golden-amber, moderate white head. Some buttery caramel, then lemon with floral hints. Could have done with a bit more bite but generally OK.
