16/12/2022. Cask at Three Wise Monkeys, Ipswich. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, orange, roasted malt, cocoa. Medium sweetness, earthy bitterness. Decent body, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

16/12/2022. Cask at Three Wise Monkeys, Ipswich. Pours clear dark golden with a small creamy/frothy white head. Aroma is Christmas spices, citrus, spruce, pine. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Slightly oily, average carbonation. Quite nicely done.

16/12/2022. Cask at Three Wise Monkeys, Ipswich. Pours cloudy pale yellow gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, citrus, malt, peach, creamy edge. Quite sweet, low bitterness. Moderate body, a little watery, soft carbonation. Hid it's 5.9%.

Keg at Three Monkeys, Ipswich. Aroma certainly has citrus alongside grain and malts. Opaque copper.gold. Creamy white head soon recedes. Citrus sourness and quinine bitterness. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Basic.

Tap at brewery. Aroma.has citrus rinsed yeast. Clear dark brown. Creamy white head. Sweet and malty - grains, caramel and glue. Light-medium bodied. Chewy malty finish. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but basic.

Cask at Three Wise Monkwys, Ipswich. Aroma has citrus and malts. Opaque golden brown. Low key though. Medium-heavy sour. Underlying vague hints of malts. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Is the brewery going to aim that this is a modern bitter? Hoppy citrus..... a Pale. Fails to comply with style.

Cask at Three Monkeys, Ipswich. Aroma has light dark berries and mild coffee. Opaque dark brown. Foamy off-white head retreats to the rim. Initial sour berries. Followed by coffee bitterness and a smoky streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Punchy Mild.

Cask @ Three Wise Monkeys, Ipswich. Hazy golden with very light tropical fruit notes, which includes some mild citrus, that has some mild activity to it.

One-third pint on keg at Three Wise Monkeys, shared with Finn. Misty amber body, bubbly white head, dotted spots on the glass. Ripe fruity nose, mid-sweet. Blended taste character of mild caramel, dried fruits and a touch of citrus. Ends bittersweet. Pretty straightforward. (Colchester 23.11.2021).
