500ml can, as Stepan Razin Petrovskoe 1795, 4.9% abv, kindly shared by Elisabeth. Next-to-clear, straw coloured body, Low, white head. Fragile lacing. Smell of sweet and dry, pale malts. Herbal hops and malts in flavour added a kind of candy sweetness. Papery dry palate. Minimal carbonation. Rather bland impression. Below par for the style (session in Tromsø, 19.06.2012).

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 17.07.2012, 20120604) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small, fizzy and white. Aroma had alcohol, metallicness, sweetness and berries. Palate was medium bodied and a bit warming with quite high carbonation. Flavours were metallicness, sweetness, alcohol, mildly grain, malts and lowish bitterness. Aftertaste was mostly boozy. Bad and unbalanced.

Bottle bought in Naushki, Buryatia. Yellow-gold colour. Tastes fairly clean and has decent body for its size. As it warms a bit, maybe some light funkiness comes out.

Bottle, bought in St Petersburg in July 2011. Dark brown with a small tan head. Quite sweet aroma with malt and notes of coffee. The taste was also sweet, with some notes of alcohol. Drinkable but nothing sensational.
