On tap at PINT BBF ’14. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, liquorice, laurel, grain husks, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, liquorice, laurel, roasted malts, light grainy, cocoa, firm bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Bottle. It forms a small, dense, light beige head over a clear, dark golden to amber colored body. The aroma is grainy with a touch of pale malts and fruityness. Caramel hints. It’s medium bodied and with a tad too much carbonation. Semi-dry. Apples, pale malts and generic fruityness in the flavor, some bitterness. A yeasty touch too. Not much interesting this one. 141024

Bottled (from biernavigatie). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, resiny and quite nice bready and sweetish maltiness. Flavour is floral, nice resiny and sprucelike notes along with some maltiness as well. Very fresh tasting beer, even though BBE has been passed a while back...

Forgetfu Tasting at ChrisOs. Hazy deep gold beer, short lived off white head. Palate is light and dry, mild fine carbonation. Super light airy malts. Very mild and tired tasting citric hop. Finishes light and dry. Fresh air beer, very little flavour of anything.

Bottle split at Chriso Tasting, 10/07/14. Clear golden with a moderate light beige head that quickly dissipates to a swirl and edgework. Nose is malt driven, caramel, light varnish, musty fruit rinds, spice. Taste comprises light yeast esters, bitter fruit, apple core, more musty notes, old bookcase. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
