Description
Located a short distance from the world famous Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, we are a small brewery with big ideas. We are the Engineers of Beer.

Brewed in small batches, our range has been precision engineered to excite both beer and motorsport enthusiasts alike. We are driven by our passion and inject this into our beers.

Prior to June 2019 known as SRA Brewery Limited (Silverstone Real Ale), and prior to that Silverstone Brewing Company. Initially brewed out of Kingshill Farm, Syresham before relocating to present address which includes a Brewery Tap and Shop.

Bottle from Bottle Mix, Kettering. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, malt, hops, straw and has a light bitter finish.

Tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Amber colour with a white head. Malty and fruity caramel aroma. Taste light to medium bittersweet. Medium body.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear copper colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, light sweet malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth rich malty, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate. A fine session beer.

500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus fruit, light metallic dry hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry malty, light fruit, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Silverstone Ignition ].Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light bread - cookie. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161013] 6-3-6-3-13

Appearance- clear and amber, a very small fizzy white head. Aroma- honey, toffee, caramel, brown bread, hop traces, more toffee, caramel biscuit. Taste- chocolatey malt, nut roast, brown bread, sugary malt, toffee, bitter hoppy finish.

Appearance- amber and very clear, with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma- caramel malt, toffee, brambly hops, traces of stewed fruit, chocolate biscuits. Taste- biscuity malt, bread, bitter hop traces, toffee, dark fruit, mouthfeel on the full side, bitter finish.
