Keg, half-pint, shared with Finn at The Cambrian Tap. Opaque orange coloured body. Pearl white head, laces well. Aroma of wheat and sappy orange. Floral fruity taste, moments of lemon and orange, Half-dry, smooth, short-lived bitter ending. Satisfying, easy going. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

Cask at Cambrian Tap where it was listed as a Brains Craft Brewery ale. A ruby tint to a deep black body. Dotted spots on the glass, bubbles at the surface. Cocoa and coffee aromas. Mid-sweet cocoa flavours added by a backdrop of coffee. Smooth roasted ending. Easy to drink. Decent. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

Cask @ The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours a deep brown, small off-white head. Chocolate resides in the aroma. Taste continues along the chocolate theme, wouldn’t necessarily put this in a porter category, more a nice smooth chocolatey mild. No discernible coffee or roast. But very nice for what it is.
