The aromas are dark malt, hints of roast, toffee and cherries. Flavors are similar to nose, good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation, adding in a bit of vanilla. Good body and finish. Nice dark beer.

Somewhere in Austin, untappd says draft AGBG, I'd say a can. Hazy orange with medium white head. Hoppy, citrus, malty, some tropical notes. Sweetish with medium bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of grass and melon with a bit of sweet grain and hay backing. Flavor has melon and grass throughout with a bit of hay and light citrus underlying.

I’ve got a friend who works there and apparently this is one of their biggest sellers. Indeed Pistachio Cream Ale 5.5% 15 IBU Nice golden color with thick off-white foam. The aroma at first gives you ale esters then the pistachio comes through. Medium to light bodied and semi-dry. The taste is big on the pistachio light on the ale.for me it’s a touch too much pistachio but it’s definitely an easy drinking brew. It comes together more as it warms so give this one a bit more time.

Sampled from the tap at Stone Arch MSP. Pours a cloudy earthy brown with a slight amber hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has toffee and sweet grains with a bit of cookie and bread supporting. Flavor has a combination of bread and sweet grains with a nice growing toffee note.

16oz can from Tavour. Golden pour, slightly cloudy, fine white head. Nutty aroma, almonds. Taste adds hazelnuts, more almond flavors, and something along the line of pistachios . Nailed the flavor on this.
