330ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is hay, green hops, bread. Taste is light sweet, bread, hay, some spicy hop. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable unfiltered lager, but why is it 330ml?

getrunken aus der Minibar im Schlosshotel Gedern vor einer Hochzeit dort Es wird in der Gegend stark beworben und gerne gibt man sich bewusst ökologisch. Davon zeugt der Eisvogel am Etikett. Das PIls ist das Hauptbier und auch sehr präsent. Allerdings hat es mir nicht wirklich geschmeckt. Es hatte hinten raus einen unangenehm bitter-modrigen Ton, der das Hopfenaroma mächtig störte.

Gold with a frothy white head. Not much of an aroma—mixed grains, grassy, faint rubber. Taste is crisply bitter on a palate that is actually halfway chewy, unlike the watery messes common to the style. Also dodges the usual sweet mess that comes at the finish with most beers in this style. Easygoing. Drinkable. Refreshing. One of the best alcohol-free beers I’ve tried. A 3.0 compared to most beers, but compared the style, a 4+.

Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a medium and frothy white head. Good lacing, medium retention. Aroma is overripe banana, orange zest, soft clove and wheat. Taste is light on the banana. Slightly sweet.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7C: pale). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L03.03.2020 16:09A (BBF 03.03.2021). AROMA: medium grainy malt aroma with faint herbal-like hop notes. slight minerally character. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and sligthly hazy. medium-low white head, creamy, with ok retention. TASTE: medium-low grainy malt notes with a slight papery character showing up. faint herbal hop note. medium bitterness with a dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an ok kellerbier but not fresh.

Pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of mixed grains. Taste is empty up front, overwhelmed by the watery texture. Mildly bitter moving into the finish. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Drinkable for the style.

Licher Export, Flasche von REWE, Treysa. - Pils oder Export? - diese Frage wird heute immer seltener gestellt. Ausgerechnet Licher mit seinem eher untraditionellen, durch wenige Pseudo-Traditionsbierchen aufgehübschten Sortiment führt noch ein klassisches Export. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase mattes helles Malz, schwach karamellig, Sägemehl und muffige, fast faulige Herbe. - Antrunk eigenartig süßsauer mit dickem Malz und ranzigen Fehlaromen, die an fauliges Holz erinnern. Limonadig rezent, dennoch vollmundig. Im Abgang derb krautige Hopfenherbe. Ranziger Nachtrunk. - Aromatisch defizitäres, lieblos zusammengeschustertes Bier. Nur mit Mühe genießbar. (8.8.2020.)
