(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Moderately sweet grainy aroma with a tinge of citrus. Sweet flavour, grainy taste, light notes of honey; light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation; sweet, slightly sticky finish. Another mediocre brew from the Tegernsee.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Sweetish strawy sightly grainy and fruity aroma with a light hoppy touch, also slightly alcoholic when it warms. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Strong malty taste, but not too fat, still “süffig”; sweet malty finish with a quite present alcoholic note. Drinkable, but not great.

Bottle: Golden coloured, medium-sized fluffy white head, sticking to the glass; aroma: sweet pale malt, wort, combinred with a distinctive peppery hoppiness; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium-bodied; honeyish-sweetish finish with some greetings from the Bavarian hop-gardens. A pleasant, well quaffable session Bock............

Draught at GBBF 2006. Crystal clear pale gold with lasting white head. Some sickly lager pale malt. Soft in mouth, bit of pukey malt, dryish hop finish. Finish has some leafy hop too. 2.6/ 5.0 moderately malty lager. some drinkability in mouth. moderate white pepper finish. decent

[Draught at GBBF] Clear pale yellow. Papery malt aroma. Sweet and light bodied with soft mouthfeel. Lightly grassy, very straightforward, low bitterness. Too sweet to be refreshing.

Chestnut colour; small, off-white head. Bready, nutty smell; dark, deep malts, pretty complex but difficult to describe. Soft sweet, caramel syrup but not cloying, cake icing or filling, Sachertorte, and just a touch of hops retronasal. Very good balance. Finishes ever so slightly nutty-oxydized. Slick, oily, very well bodied. Surprisingly complex beer, wich is hard to estimate at depth because of its exceptional balance. Digging deeper, there’s a lot going on here. Thanks to Stephen D’Arcy for sharing this one.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a white head. Very malty aroma. Medium-bodied, completely dominated by extremely sweet malt - this really is liquid candy. Pretty much no bitterness at all. 310506
