On tap at Backcountry Pizza. Pours a cloudy gold with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. Great nose of apricot and funk. Thin mouth, light apricot, nice sourness, very good.

12 oz can purchased at Antler’s in Frisco, Colorado. The pour is a very hazed golden orange with a 1/2 inch well formed white head. The aroma is fresh apricot, sweet, and softly tart fruit. The taste is the apricot fruit, very fresh and natural, tartness of apricot skin all on top of clean softly sweet straw malt. The palate is medium to light bodied with active carbonation and a clean finish. Tasty refreshing beer.

22oz Bomber brought back from my Denver trip. pours a murky drab tan/orange with barely any head. Big juicy sticky hop flavors and tropical notes. very soft carbonation. Raw soft maltiness. Not very bitter for a double.

22oz Bottle brought back from my Denver trip. Clear deep brown and a nice dense creamy light tan head. Sweet cocoa and vanilla aroma. Light bitter chocolate and plenty of vanilla in the flavors. Not exactly robust and fairly light and sweet. Some wet brown paper malt flavors at the end, and I think a little under bittered.

Bottle thanks to Rick. Pours a dark amber ruby with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla, roast, and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with rich malt and light sweetness. Good.

Rich hazy golden coloured body with an orange glow and a thin white head less than a centimetre tall. Aroma of pungent PNW hops, some light apricot and pear sweetness and a very strong and fragrant malt backbone, along with a decent amount of alcohol. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavours at first with a great malt backbone and a very nice complexity throughout showing some sweetness from fruit as well. Aftertaste has some subdued floral and piney characteristics, but the resin,grapefruit and herbal notes of the hops really come through at the end, along with the alcohol, of course. Overall, a nice beer - definitely well worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this large pint (24 ounce+) at Platte River Bar & Grill in Littleton, Colorado for US$8.99 on 06-June-2014 a few minutes after arriving from the East Coast, with haddon90!

On tap @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with a nice white head. ton of apricot and peaches with a bit of lactic and vanilla. Flavor is pretty straight forward. Lightly to moderately tart. A fair amount of fruit but kind of one dimensional. Moderately sweet. Pretty easy to drink and it seemed to be popular with the ladies at our table, but not horribly complex. I would get fucked up on it.

Cask - Fresh piney skunky hops. Clear gold with a huge beige head. Pine, orange and resin. Light persistent bitterness with a nice mellow finish. Very easy drinking.

Amber brown, pretty intense whiskey and chewy caramel/toffee aroma. Rich brew. Sweet with a little woody barrel snap. Syrupy richness but the malts are well-developed. Everything is clean, rounded and balanced. If all barley wines were like this I’d drink a lot more barley wine. Utopias fans would dig this.
