Dark reddish brown colour. The head is minimal. Aroma of cinnamon, gingerbread and wet paint. The body is thinner than expected. Tastes of cinnamon, gingerbread, alcohol and cheap mulled wine.

Bomber, 2013 vintage (obviously). Caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, dark fruit, coconut, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours deep caramel brown colored with a thin tan head that has little retention and a thin ring of lacing. Starts with rich caramel, toffee, coconut and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with dark fruit, vanilla and bourbon flavors as well as having good warming booze at the dry end. Still excellent after 12 years.

Bought locally, canned July 31st 2025.

Pours a mostly clear orange gold with plenty of foam, lacing and good retention.

Smell is apricot, some pine, toasted malt, bit of lemon.

Taste is strong with the apricot, quite hoppy with some citrus, good level of bitterness.

Good mouthfeel, I would drink this again.

12 oz can to glass at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado. The pour is a clear copper amber with a small off white head. The aroma is softly sweet caramel malt, general grain and a hint of floral. The taste is a nice blend of the caramel malt and the floral, mostly focused on the malt. The palate is medium to light bodied, active carbonation and a clean finish. Solid Amber, easy drinking.
