On tap at the Brig, pours a clear deep amber, thin white head. Nose is very true to style, malt, black tea, summer sausage, some beech wood. Flavor has more smoke at the front, it's bacony and sausagey, then malt, some orange here. Finishes off dry, which might be my only complaint. Well made and true to style.

Bottle from the international bar at the 2019 Bedford Beer Festival. Pours an almost alarming neon orange/gold with an uneven white head. Lots of caramel, orange peel, gluey resin. Sweet taste with lots of sticky, gluey malt. It's not the best US IPA I have had. But it's quaffable...

On tap at Meridian Pint. Pours almost black with a tan head. Port wine, licorice, roasted malt, chocolate. Did not taste like a more traditional BP.
