Clear dark purplish brown beer, small creamy beige to brown head, little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet and sugary impression, good roast, some alcohol, ripe banana, caramel, blueberry jam. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, a bit fruity, chocolate, blueberry jam, sugary, bitter touch. Aftertaste: alcohol, a bit oxidized, weird, fruity, sugary finish. Didn’t get any coffee in this one, which is weird as I’m not a coffee drinker and usually I pick it up quite fast in beer.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web) Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Woody, portwineous nose. Some plum and even cherries in the nose too. Medium-bodied. Lots of port wine and barrel here, plum and cherry, oak, touch of soya sauce. A bit rough use of port here, lacks elegant sweet fruityness of port wine but hides imperial stout edge too.

Can (from KCM Kupittaa). Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is a lot of orange, some zest, herbs and mild wheat tones. Flavour is orange, some zest, mild coriander, some slight juniper with a bit tart tones.

ABV: 5.5%. Murky matt medium caramel colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20231031]
