Description
Sori Brewing is located in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. Backed by crowdfunding investors, Sori Brewing is on a mission to make the world more fun with better craft beer. Started by two Finns who moved away from their home country to brew without compromises. Not far, but far enough to make it count. Together with an amazing team, these guys are dedicated to bring you joy in a form of craft beer.
Currently brewing around 3000 hl a year and running a barrel program with almost 200 barrels. We enjoy brewing a wide range of beers, from barrel-aged big beers to refreshing sours and super hoppy IPA’s.

Sori Brewing Coffee Gorilla Baltic Porter Appearance- jet black, completely opaque, with a big beige head which settles down into half a finger. Aroma- much more hoppy than expected, orange peel, coffee hints, chocolate orange, spicy hints, hop resin. Taste- lots of coffee, toast, dark malts, dark chocolate, liquorice hops, fruity hints, for example oranges. Freshly roasted coffee beans. Dry roasted bitter finish. Nice, almost like a black IPA.

On tap (Sori Havana Gose with Lime & Mint) at Pudel, Tallinn. Close to clear orange to amber with a fast dissipating head. Fairly mild fruity aroma with notes of citrus and mint. Moderate sweet with nice acidity and a flavour that in the end reminds me a little bit of watered out Caipirinha. Guess the lime and mint combination works with beer too, then. Quite refreshing, but as with caipirinha I guess it would be nicer on a hot summer day or in more topical areas than on a winter day in Tallinn. Still quite nice and certainly more refreshing than expected.

33cl bottle from SIP veini- ja õllepood, Tallinn. Pours hazy amber with a fairly modest, white head. Very fruity aroma with lots of tropical fruits, some citrus and hints of malt and caramel. Moderate to medium sweet with nice, but fairly mild fruity and hoppy flavours and a balanced bitterness. Tasty and well crafted IPA.

A colablack beer, a head is quite small and light brown. Aroma is great, strong coffee, nice sweet maltyness and dark chocolate, low roastiness and liquirice, also hint of riped fruits. Taste has lots of coffee, balanced sweetness, some refreshning herbs and sharpness of coffee. Medium bodied, slippery, easy to drink. Great beer. Strong coffee, but it’s nicely balanced with other elements. Very succesfully beer.
