Sample thanks to Grumbo. Cheers mate. Pours a dark brown, no head. Aroma is sweet, some dark assorted elements. Flavour profile presents cheap bargain chocolate, marshmallow, some light raspberry elements. A bit eco overall.

1/6/2024. Can at Prague GP beer share. From Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is raspberry, marshmallow, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, biscuit. Quite sweet, light to moderate roasted bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, oily and watery, average carbonation.

440ml can via FutureState sub. Hazy golden orange, white head. Aroma of vinous and citrus fruits, white wine. Taste is the same, white wine, grapefruit and lemon/lime citrus, gooseberry, and a touch of resinous bitterness. Medium bodied. Wasn't sure at first but this really grew on me, must be honest and say that I don't think this is as good as FutureState's own homebrewed (technically) beers, which is kind of mindblowing.

Can via FutureState subscription. Aroma has stone fruit, citrus and a resinous streak. Sweet vanilla porridge edge throughout. Hazy-opaque gold. Thick foamy white head. Flava is fruity. Juicy. With a sour citrus and vinous streak. Sherbert. Resinous bitterness raises its head into the finish. Vanilla sugar sweetness gains traction the more I slurp. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. One of them juice bombs but not too up in yer grills.

Bottle shared by my bro, cheers Mark! It pours near black with a small beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, big hit of Islay whisky, peaty, medicinal, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, rocky road, caramel, mars bar and toffee crisp. The taste is dry, dark roasted malt, lighter than expected... bitter - sweet, a touch of acidity, burnt toast, whisky soaked oak, charred, bonfire, medicinal, toasted spice, jammy, dried fruits, fig, toasted fruit cake and just a hint of alcohol with dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine, but supporting carbonation. Lovely aroma, but taste is a touch thinner/tangy than expected. Fun stuff anyhow.

Keg at Fierce Bar Aberdeen. It pours black with a decent deep tan head. The aroma is sweet, unctuous, oily, intoxicating, bitter - sweet, maple syrup waffles, sticky peanut butter, banana split, savoury, salty and dark roasted malt. The taste is slick, thick, bitter - sweet, sugary, prickly dark roasted malt, milky & sugary coffee, chocolate, vanilla, banana split, salty, savoury, peanut butter on toast, boozey kick, some spice, roasted malt and a touch of burnt toast with a sweetish, warming finish. Fulsome body and fine, velvety carbonation. Not quite a sweet or sickly as expected, has a savoury edge to balance it out. Fun.

Keg at Brownhill & Co, Leeds. Pours hazy pale yellow with a thick white head. Aromas of lemon and resin. Taste is chewy, faint malt, but quite a lot of fresh hop character. Light bitter finish.
