A little veggie cabbage aroma when I popped the lid on this 12 bottle. Probably because it is a rather old bottle. Date code 131105, I think. Smell clears to a more lemon oil aroma in the glass. No bubbles or head on this stuff, looks completely flat. On the palate however, it does have some good clean tingly carbonation. Taste is rather well mannered. Controlled with very litlle bitterness. This makes it friendly and enjoyable IMHO. Taste buds welcome this amicable brew. Has a slight citrus flavor but it lacks the typical bitter bite. Easy to like and repeatable. Does not possess any pilsner bite. More like a well behaved american lager. Finish is short and sweet with some metallic industrial hints.

Can: Poured a golden color with a white cream color head. Sweet hoppy malt aroma. The taste is actually fruity almost apple like, weird because the smell is nothing close. Finish is dry and bittery hops.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden amber with a froathy carbonated head. The aroma is a sweet grainy with hops. Taste is a sweet grassy grainy flavor.

Huge white fine-laced head. Yellow body. Mealy diffuse malt aroma with notes of vegetables and apples. Sweetish caramelly taste with faint grassy notes, quite mild and very simple. Light alcoholic notes. Not very balanced. No real aftertaste, though some dryness towards the end. Could be worse, I guess. (0.5l bottle.)

Can Deep brown to black body. Off-white creamy head. Sweetish aroma, a little bit caramel. Quite sweet, very watery flavour. Lacks any complexity and it is even badly balanced. Not undrinkable, but certainly not pleasant.

Chocolate and raisin aroma, but also noticeable are rubber and feet. Color is between dark tea and light cola, with a medium head. Initial taste is briefly soy sauce and then smoke. Finish is bark and hops. Rather distinctive, but not great.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pale golden with a small, white, lacing head. Discreet, malty aroma with a lightly floral touch - don’t say they actualy used Saazer here? Medium body with a timid malt base but still fairly clean. Dry, lightly hoppy finish. Quite drinkable. 210607

Bouteille 330ml, courtoisie de Jean-Marc G. De couleur jaune dorée et transparente. Nez de grains de malt pâle avec de faibles notes fruitées chimiques (fruits tropicaux) ainsi que des traces de houblon herbeux. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâle avec de petites notes fruitées chimiques (pêche, ananas) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût sucré de maïs et en finale l’on retrouve des notes amères de houblon herbeux (foin mouillé) avec des notes métalliques. Post-goût court-moyen, aux notes amères de houblon herbeux (foin) et avec des traces métalliques
