Bottle at one of the Cad’s Pure Mad Tastings. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a dissipating white head. Grain malt nose. Very sweet flavor, some notes of honey and caramel, not bitterness, really. Perhaps some faint straw. Light bodied with heavy carbonation. Sickly sweet finish, malty, not too long. An OK pale lager.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden to copper beer topped by a creamy, two-finger, off-white to light beige head. Fruity, peachy and sugary nose, like any Belgian blonde. Peachy and lightly sugary flavor with a decent bitterness. Grassy and spiced with some pear hints. Medium body, smooth. Bitterness and fruityness in the end. A quite decent one, didn’t find any smoke as some other raters did. 111001

Bottle. Clear, deep amber with lace. Fruity nose with citrus and malt, grainy. Malty flavor, caramel, just a bit smoky with peat. Fruity and spicy from the yeast, and rather dry. Light but full and very drinkable. Only a mild “whiskey” malt taste, but the sweetness is light and balance good.

Bottle. A clear, slightly pale golden golden beer with a decent white head. Lots of spices on the nose, coriander and orange, almost dishwashing water like. Soapy, medium to thin body. Citrus, spices, mostly coriander, and some pale malts in the flavor. Not much bitterness. Sure not my kind of beer in any way, no matter how much ginseng there’s in it. 110917
