(Draught at Flying Scotsman, Stockholm, 2 Oct 2009) Black colour with ruby hints. Frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, dark fruit, well roasted grain and hints of chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, roasted malt and a dry, grainy finish with hints of dark fruit. Moderate bitterness. Medium body. Well balanced and nice.

Draught@SBWF2009. Deep ambery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is nuts, roasted malts, pleasant wood and mildly herbal and liquoricesish notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a very good balance. Toasted caramel malts and ashes in the finish.

Draught@SBWF2009. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is nice fruity and floral hops along with wood and some berries. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather nice balance.

Draught@SBWF2009. Golden colour, small creamy head. Aroma is caramel, biscuits, fruits and grass. Flavour is smooth mild wood and fruits along with some herbal notes.

Draught@SBWF2009 as Sorbon X. Golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is grassy, yeasty, caramel malty as well as quite wooden. Flavour is quite much the same. 7 3 6 3 13

Draught@SBWF2009 as Sorbon ESB. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is hops, grass, herbs and some slight caramel malty and wooden notes. Flavour is nicely balanced grassyness and fruityness along with some wooden notes. 6 3 6 3 13

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 18 Sep 2009) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with freshly ground coffee, dark berries and dark chocolate. Roasted, malty taste with notes of well roasted coffee, dark bread, cocoa and a dry, well roasted finish with a generous coffee bitterness. Slightly above medium body. Brilliant balance. Very nice porter. Quite impressive.

500ml bottle, batch 295, picked up at Systembolaget in Linköping. Bright amber body, modest white head. Grain-malty aroma. Mingled taste of distant hops and bready malts. Smooth and quite long-lived bitter finish. Medium bodied. A fine Swedish expression of the style (hotel room, 02.09.2009).

Slightly hazy orange color, small white head. Yeasty, diacetylic aroma. Sweet malty, some diacetyl, low bitterness. Not very style-like.

Dark brown color, small off-white head. Licorice, coffee beans, vegetables in the nose. Licorice, cold coffee in the flavor. Malty sweetness in the finish.

Clear red color, small off-white head. Peach, apricot, caramel and hops in the nose. Some caramel in the background, but mostly tropical hoppy with "hop juice". Very American, very "sweaty".
