12 ounce can from a Publix nearby Kissimmee. 6/23/22. It's been about 9 years since I handful of these guys' beers, and all were excellent. Excited to try another. Hazy orange, medium tan head, good retention. Aroma of pine, resin, a hint of citrus. Not much frutiness at all. Not necessarily a bad thing. Taste is melon, green hops, tea, dank, pine. Juicy, moderate bitterness, a little unusual in a good way. Another good one.

Big can while visiting st pete. Hazy yellow orangish brew. Smells like sweet pine, or should I say sweaty pine? Taste is big dull bad ass pine tar. Really sticks to the roof of your mouth. Big dull bastard dwarf of a rude straight up ass beer. Totally on style. Could even pass as an imperial IPA. Just saying. Yea, one big, large and in charge nasty IPA fer sher. Like IPA? Forget my numbers and put this on your bucket list. Think mouth coating pine tar sap blended with rotting fermenting green grapefruit rinds and spruce tar all while chewing on a fresh rubber inner tube.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small off-white head and good retention. Good lacing. Citrus aroma. Light grapefruit and citrus flavor with light hops bitterness. As advertised, it's an easy drinking grapefruit ale. More fruit beer than golden ale. Summer beer. Refreshing.

Bottle shared during RBWG on the booze bus. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. Moderate sweetness, low roast, nice citrusy hops, a little cocoa and scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Toasted pine to finish, orange rind, cocoa. Solid.

Pretty good hoppy beer. Clean bright citrus notes, orange rind, lightly floral. Flavor similar, semi-dry with citrus hop flavors, light bitterness, light to medium bodied, fairly drinkable overall. This is a good all around beer. Golden amber, big nice foamy head.

Amber color, good foaming head, off to a good start. Bright hop forward nose, some general citrus elements, resiny. Flavor is more balanced, with a caramel and bready malt element equal to the mostly resiny hop flavors. Medium bitterness and semi-dry to balanced at the finish. solidfunk said it was a nice old school IPA and I'd have to agree on both counts, its nice, and old school, reminds me a great deal of the early 2000s IPAs, esp the east coast ones. Take home message here is that this does nothing to distinguish itself particularly, outside of being a solid all around hoppy beer, and there's nothing wrong with that. As they say, it dranks purty good.
