Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Cloudy copper/brown, mid sized head. Vanilla and caramel fights alcohol in the aroma. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and coconut, lots of alcohol. Brandy and vanilla leads the way to a fiercely warming finish.

TNOD(U)RBSG16. Murky amber, small offwhite head. Aroma has wood and dried fruit. Hints of vanila. Sweet, woody flavour, quite alcoholic. The bourbon is quite evident. Fruity, bitter and dry. Nice sipper - gets better and better.

Sampled from bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering 2016, Ulfborg, Day 2. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, small off-white to beige head. Aroma is heavily barrel aged: I was reminded of cognac initially but it isn’t sweet enough for that I guess, so bourbon makes more sense. Aroma is also sweet, malty, slightly leaves, some caramel. Solid. Taste malts, again quite some barrel aging in there, wood, oak, slight tart from the barrel, quite bitter, some alcohol. Aroma beats the flavor I would say. Heavy. Solid, but not one of my favorites.

Süßer Antrunk, der sich nach kurzer Zeit fängt und angenehm trocken wird. Bitter-getreidig, süffig, geringe Herbe. Die Trockenheit gefällt, vollmundig, wenig alkoholisch. 10/11/10/11/8/11

Bottle: Poured a murky amber color ale with a large foamy head. Aroma of resinous and earthy hops is balanced against some sweet malt notes. Taste is a mix of light grapefruit notes with some earthy and resinous hops and huge sweet malt backbone. Body is full with good carbonation. Can’t say I really enjoy the hops varietal used in here and malt backbone was too sweet for the style.
