Bottle thanks to Koelschtrinker at the 0-65% tasting. It pours clear light yellow with a medium white head. The nose is grass, spice, dough, biscuit, hay and sweet pale malt. The taste is grain, dough, flour, light spice, decent bitter bite and grass with a dry, crisp finish. Medium body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Not bad…. a crisp, refreshing brew nonetheless.

Bottle at the 0-65% Tasting, London - thanks to Paul for sourcing this rare kolsch. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a big, persistent white head. Bright, crispy biscuit nose with hints of cereal and dry florals. Medium sweet flavor with white sugar, white bread, dough, very faint bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish with light cereal and white bread. Simple and white bread-dominant. Pleasant.

The 0-65% tasting. Four guys, fourteen beers, average abv 12.9%, 65 mins! Bright clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate - semi dry. Mild carbonation. Sweet pale malt, trace of paper. A little citrus keeps things respectable. Semi dry and smooth finish.

Laffer Beginn mit blumig hopfigen, viel zu milden Noten. Kaum bitter, erst zum Schluss intensiver. Süffig, schwach hopfig. Hintergründig interessanter würzig, davor aber demonstrativ trocken. 12/9/11/8//9

11.2oz bottle poured into a shaker. From my brothers girlfriends dad. Pours a lightly cloudy dark gold with a thin bit of white head. Aroma of bready yeast, banana, clove and some light apple and citrus. Taste is light bitter and very very lightly sweet. Herbal hops with a bit of green apple, banana and some clove. A little skunk in there too. Medium bodied with a slightly thin, yet somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a pretty long finish. Overall, pretty good. Much better than I expected. I’m not usually a fan of Kolsch, but this one is pretty good.

500 ml bottle, bought in Citti Markt, Flensburg. ABV is 4.8%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong aroma with some sweetish notes of new-mown grass, Refreshing and "clean" flavour, crisp and easy drinking, with tolerable "herbal" German hops.

Bottle looks really good, old styled. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine fruity like lemon, very mild salty hints. Finish well balanced, still mild, quite drinkable. Nice!

Frischer, sehr milder Herbebeginn. Minimale Zitronensäure, plattes Malz. Anschließend tut sich nicht mehr viel, Das Bier bleibt konstant mild herb, spät trocken. OK. 6/6/8/7/6/7
