Bottle from The Beerhive, Hazy amber/red body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Good lacing. Aroma of toffee, grass and mashed strawberries. Flavour of marzipan (Luckie Ales’ house flavour, in my opinion), dried fruit and lightly roasted malts. Medium body with a powdery texture. Soft fizz. Quite bitter for a Scotch Ale, which I like.
