Description
Producing beer using left over bread rather than fresh barley.

We work in partnership with exceptional breweries, using their brewery but under our own license and using our own ingredients and recipes, and brewed by our in-house brewer, Stuart.

Moved to own brewery in Milton Keynes, dur8ng 2024.

In the UK, our beers are brewed at SEB in Broadstairs.

We've previously worked with Hepworth Brewery in Sussex, Wold Top Brewery and Hambleton Ales in Yorkshire, and with Hackney Brewery in London. Each time we've moved, it's been to allow us to scale up production.

330ml can from Co-op Eye - clear light amber, big frothy white head with staying power. Aroma - big bready malts with some citrus notes. Taste - again big bread, caramel, some light citrus notes which helps to freshen it slightly. Fairly strong bitterness. Palate - moderate body and fairly full for a 4.5%, semi-smooth, nice soft carbonation. Overall - more of a bitter than an IPA. I quite liked it even though it has limited hop character.

330ml bottle. clear orange-gold, small white head. Malty, bread, caramel, orange, resin both in aroma and taste. With aroma it seems one-dimensional but in taste is has a nice depth to it with a semi-sweetness and a moderate bitterness and fruity zesty resin in the finish. Simple but effective with a good body to hold it together. I like it, a little under-rated I think.

Can from somewhere, drank in Eastbourne. Aroma is quite skunky. Nice golden ale colour with low carbonation. Taste is fine but overall its a bit confused. West coast hops without the bitterness to hold them, quafable yet held back by unfinisheness. Its fine. Later on I noted a very astringent bitterness.

Can as Toast Session IPA, at a mate's house (socially distanced). Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Light citrus aromas, faint malt. Taste is light citrus again, bready as expected. Light bitter finish. Decent enough, after a 10 mile cycle.

Ours amber with heavy carbonation and a massive white head. Aroma of toasted malt, yeast. Taste has herbal, resinous hop notes on top of a dry malt base. Palate has pine resin, lemongrass. Good.
