330ml bottle, batch 019, from Sourced Market, St Pancras, evening session with Finn on a Great Western train towards Devon. Patch layer, clingy lacing, clear amber coloured body. Grainy malts and dried fruits on the nose. Oily hops and buttery malts to the taste buds. Modest bittersweet endnotes. Satisfying (26.04.2017).

Bottle at Tap Social Movement, Botley, Oxford, Saturday 4th March 2017 in the company of John, Ian, Glen and John Campbell. Copper in colour with a white head, good clarity. Quite simple tasting, a little fruity, Iโm not getting any toast but am getting some maltiness, itโs pretty enjoyable. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Bottle on the train to Norwich, 16/02/17. Clear golden orange with a decent light beige cap. Nose is pale malts, butterscotch, vanilla, bread dough, light caramel. Taste comprises melon, soft bread, light floral notes, thankfully less of the butter notes, light orange, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop flicker. Average fayre.

Bottle at home picked up from Fortnum and Mason. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is sweet base malts, sticky caramel malts, little buttery malts, honey, pine resin, woody hop. Flavour is composed of medium sweet malts, honey, toffee, woody pine hop. Firm rough hop bitterness. Palate is sticky sweet, moderate carbonation. Ok.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber, medium white head. Aroma of pale malts, soft semi-sweet. Taste is solid EPA territory, prominent English hops with soft pale malts. Nothing really to hint at the bread used, and the fruity hoppiness kind of over-rides the malt. But itโs decent enough

Bottle from Bison Beers. It pours clear copper with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is fairly mellow... brown bread, cereal, spice and some toffee. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, brown bread, resin, wood, touch of orange citrus and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not a huge amount going on, but drinkable enough.

Rocky white head stayed well on a translucent, light orange coloured body with fine bubbles rising. Bitter/Sweet aroma, smells like an English Best Bitter. Slightly citrus. Full feel on the tongue and thin on the back with a prickle. Pine, pith, citrus whilst at the same time thereโs the sweeter melon & nectarine.

Appearance is amber, slightly murky, hardly any head at all. Aroma- fresh hops, citrus, honey malt, bready malt, raisin hints, more honey. Taste- more bready malt, hop hints, bitter hops, tangy fruit, caramel, bitter juicy mouthfeel, short and fruity finish.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours totally clear gold with a creamy, white head. Nice aroma, with piney hops, ripening citrus and bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugary crackers, a little honey, melon, tangerine, some piney bitterness, faint grass. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet on the finish, with crusty bread and pale malts, further piney accents, lightly toasted crackers, whispers of caramel, ripe orange, other rindy citrus. Interesting beer. Pretty enjoyable on the whole.
