Description
Producing beer using left over bread rather than fresh barley.
We work in partnership with exceptional breweries, using their brewery but under our own license and using our own ingredients and recipes, and brewed by our in-house brewer, Stuart.
Moved to own brewery in Milton Keynes, during 2024.
In the UK, our beers are brewed at SEB in Broadstairs.
We've previously worked with Hepworth Brewery in Sussex, Wold Top Brewery and Hambleton Ales in Yorkshire, and with Hackney Brewery in London. Each time we've moved, it's been to allow us to scale up production.

Just off-golden coloured body with a very small, single centimetre tall pure white head and very little else - a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of grain, light yeast, a touch of wheat and a very mild hop and sugar component - fairly mild throughout in all respects. Light to Medium-bodied; Very subdued malt and yeast component with the grain and very mild hop flavours that really show no bitterness, just a herbal and grassy flavour at the end. Aftertaste is mild and grainy with the yeast and some bread-based flavours, I suppose. Overall, a pretty subuded beer throughout with a more pronounced yeast and grain flavour that shows some decent flavours, but again - mild throughout and producing nothing truly exciting. I suppose this is an interesting take and something different, but if this was executed flawlessly, simply an experiment I never wanted to try. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park), New York on 30-November-2018 for US$2,99 sampled on the streets of New York at Christmas a few minutes later on 30-November-2018.

330ml bottle. Crystal clear, faint, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Weak, sweet-ish, bready aroma, hints of white bread, biscuit. Taste is floral and minimally fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, biscuity-bready basis, hints of yellow gooseberry, a chamomile-like touch. Smoothan dsoft palate, soft carbonation. Clean, refreshing, "innocent".

Weak, slightly piney, minimally citrusy, hoppy and slightly bready, malty aroma, hints of white bread crust, a touch of orange. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel and slightly bready malty, hints of white bread crust, floral, slightly piney, grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of gooseberry. Not so bad - could be more hoppy.

Bottle at LHR (with mandatory meal) No idea how it looks like, but tastes fair. No fireworks but fits the purpose and goes well down to belly.
