Titanic Brewery has grown from very humble beginnings to production of over 3 million pints in 2020. Founded in 1985, Titanic Brewery has been brewing beer in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent for over 30 years. The Staffordshire brewery is run by local brothers, Keith & Dave Bott. We employ over 150 local people.

330ml bottle from Appleyards. Pours a deep gold, moderate patch white froth atop. Aroma brings passionfruit, toffee, malt, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is indeed crisp with a confident bitterness, toffee and passionfruit seem to be the order of the day, bright and hoppy overall with light floral notes with some butterscotch. Tasty, but the butterscotch is a little off-putting.

27/11/2019. Keg at BOD, Stoke-on-Trent. Pours clear dark gold with a small creamy lasting white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, light tropical fruits, pine, grass and sweet malt. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Pretty decent.

27/11/2019. Cask at the White Star, Stoke-on-Trent. Pours golden amber with a small creamy white head. Aroma of sweet fruit, malt, hops and grass. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Quite a sweet finish. Pretty decent. Went down well.

Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton Pours a very dark brown with a small cream head and good lacing. Nose is a distinctive aroma of boozy, rotting, fermenting plums. More plums in the mouth, along with fruitcake and roasted malts. Finish is plums with a hint of ginger, and a warming alcoholic streength. A classic winter warmer.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 15th Nov 2019; The Crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire. Slick and easy drinking Stout, looked good and tasted even better. Usual Stout attributes, black with a tanned head, malty and wholesome.

Half-pint, cask at Royal Blenheim. Shared with Finn. Good looking with a stable beige head that laced fine. Clear dark body with a rustic shade. Promising smell of dark cherry skins, mid-sweet. Taste of cherry joined by creamy malts, vanilla sweet. Balanced bittersweet finish. Good drinking. (Oxford 27.10.2019).
