Gravity at the Bree Louise. Very dark red brown colour. No head. Aroma is malty, caramel pudding, quite sweet. Fruity apple and plum, burnt caramel. Taste is bit fruity, cherry touch, maybe plums too. Very nutty too, and hint of wood. Cask at Sun, Stafford. Nose as lactose combined with a frutiness suggestive of cherries. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a strong creamy head. In the mouth again it is a combination of smooth milkiness and fruits flavours like raspberries and cherries. Finish is the same, but some graininess does come through. Pleasant but nothing special.

29/8/2019. Cask at Sir John Moore, Glasgow. Pours dark amber brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, toffee, bread, fruit cake and light spice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium to full bodied, rich texture, soft carbonation. Bready, cakey finish. Went down well after a day working in Glasgow.

Pitch black and no head. Coffee and caramel aroma. Roasted malt flavor with caramel, coffee, licorice and apple. Thin and a bit watery, but still a nice beer that goes down easily.

Cask at GBBF: Poured a reddish edged brown with tan head. Aroma is malt and bubblegum. Taste is a bit butter malt sweet.

Cask at GBBF: Poured pink with pink white head. Aroma is raspberry fruit. Taste is berry raspberry nice grain. Refreshing fruit.

8/8/2019. Cask at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, butter, fruit and flowers. Medium wetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Too buttery to really enjoy.
