Description
Initially, the beer was brewed by Roberto Giannarelli at home using minimal tools needed. After initial successes Roberto decided to invest and finally crown his dream shifting production to the historic former barn renovated ad hoc to accommodate new machinery and definitely give rise to La Petrognola Brewery. Between 2012 and 2013, the transfer takes place to the new site a few meters away from the previous one, but with very different spaces and possibilities for development.

Bottled. A hazy orange-golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet spicy - coriander being most dominant. The flavor is acidic with spicy notes of coriander, leading to an acidic finish. The body is thin.

Small, but persistent amberish head over dark yellow beer with a greenish shine. Malty, "beery" nose, discreet and slightly herbal aroma. Beautiful, fake "madeirised" flavour (the effect of the chestnuts, as first shown by the Pietra). Nutty, lighty vanilla - good! Creamy mouthfeel, yet refreshing enough. Very good beer, that I liked instantly. More of this, my friend!

Good yellowish head over hazy amber beer. Very spiced nose, orange peel, parsley, raspberry syrup - if fleetingly - and a lot of malts, not necessarily barley. Less orange, even less raspberry, but all still there. Lots of restsweetness; pleasing, but making it into a slow-drinking beer. A drinkbeer that isn’t one - I’d say a good one to taste with some friends on a summer terrace.

66 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange and with a diminished white head. Orange fruity and slight spiced aroma, quite inviting. Flavour holds a slight soapy hoppy orange fruity and slight malty flavour. Finish is fruity and into the slight dry notes. Nice.
