24/12/2022. Bottle courtesy of IOWTim. Pours clear attractive dark amber brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is malted chocolate, light roasted malt, dark fruits, nut, caramel, dried fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate to medium bitterness. Light body, foamy carbonation. Let down a bit by lack of body, but otherwise good.

Cask gravity ar Just Reproach Deal. Black beer lasting tan head. Some liquorice some molasses some dark chocolate some raisins Juicy porter. Light bitterness on finish ok. not to my taste

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, sweet malt - honey, caramel, light spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, sweet malt - honey, spicy notes, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191204]

Gravicask, 3.6 % abv, at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Clear warm golden body, filmy layer, fair lacing. Moderate aromas of lemony and grassy hops. mid-dry. Ripe fruity flvours added by earthy malts. Mid-dry hoppy ending, short-lived. Satisfying and refreshing. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Cask @ The Abbey, Shrewsbury. Pours a clear glowing amber, off-white head. Aroma is nutty, malt, light caramel. Taste has a nicely balanced nutty malt character, gentle caramel murmurs, distant fruit, decent bitter.

Cask @ The Abbey, Shrewsbury. Pours gold with a light mist, frothy white head. Biscuity malt on the nose, continuing through to taste, dry bitter lead, malt ruling the overall character, some hop presence would've been welcome. Fine.

3.8% Cask handpull at Hop Stuff Taproom Ashford. Hazy copper amber colour thin white head. Malty unattenuated aroma. Some hop juice in mouth. Some malty sweetness. Light bitterness on the finish. OK.
