Bottled @ Camping Ratebeers 2014, small sample. Bit boring belgian-like blonde beer as a base beer. German yeast seems to give a slight smoky touch indeed, but its strange that it tastes like a belgian blonde with a slight sour and dry smoky touch. And then claim its from the yeast. Weird. Not too good.

Bottled @ Camping Ratebeers 2014, small sample. Quite typical belgian blonde base beer with Brett. Hungarian oak is the least of the three, giving a more sharpish dry wood. Slightly more sour. A bit more unbalanced.

Gekocht in de delhaize te Dendermonde op 3/06/2014. Mijn eerste proefsel van de Brett on Wood drieling. Het aroma is zoet, wat honing, licht zurig, mout en zelfs een melk-geur. De kleur is mistig-amber. Het witte schuim is wat ongelijkmatig, in een normale hoeveelheid en inzakkend. Geen pareling te zien. De smaak is licht zoet, licht zurig en redelijk bitter. De nasmaak duurt zeer lang en is licht bitter. Dit rond volmondig brettje zorgt voor een zeer licht droog gevoel in de mond samen met de alcohol die ook voor een licht warm mondgevoel zorgt. Het is geen grote verrassing, enkel de nasmaak duurt zeer lang. Ben al benieuwd wat de andere Bretts gaan presteren.
